Who we are

Lantern Leads is a texting service for funeral homes. It helps a home follow up people who filled out that home’s Facebook pre-need lead form.

These terms are between you and Albert Chang, doing business as Albert Chang Consulting (product name Lantern Leads).

Who this covers

These terms cover two groups.

• Funeral-home staff who create a Lantern Leads account and use the inbox, follow-up messages, or settings.
• People who submitted a funeral home’s Facebook lead form, agreed to be texted, and then receive texts from that home.

The service

Lantern Leads lets a funeral home connect a Facebook lead form, receive people who asked about pre-planning, and send a short follow-up by text from the home’s name. Staff can also write a one-off text in the shared inbox.

We do not run ads, buy leads, or sell lead lists. We are not an affiliate marketer.

Texting program

This is the SMS program those texts belong to. Consent is collected on the Facebook lead form itself — a cell number and a checked permission to be texted. It is not hidden in these terms or bundled into another agreement.

Who texts you

If you filled out a funeral home’s pre-need form, texts come from that home’s name. Lantern Leads sends the messages for that home. We do not text you for other businesses.

How consent works

• A person opts in by submitting the funeral home’s Facebook lead form with a cell number and a checked SMS consent box.
• Funeral-home staff may send one test text to their own cell after checking the same consent.
• We do not buy, sell, or share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
• Message frequency: a short follow-up sequence after the form, then only if staff writes. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out. STOP is forever for that number at that home.
• Reply HELP for a short help message.
• Automatic texts send only 9:00 AM–7:00 PM in the funeral home’s timezone.

Accounts and payment

A funeral-home account is $100 per month. Staff at that home share one inbox. The person who signs up is responsible for the account and for the follow-up copy the home sends.

Staff must only text people who consented, and must honor STOP.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lantern Leads to send spam, to text people who did not agree, to share or sell lead lists, or to send anything illegal or harmful.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. The current terms always live at https://getlanternleads.com/terms.
