Who we are

Lantern Leads helps funeral homes follow up people who filled out a Facebook pre-need lead form — by text, from the home’s name.

The person responsible for this information (the controller) is Albert Chang, doing business as Albert Chang Consulting (product name Lantern Leads).

How to request deletion

Email hello@getlanternleads.com and say you want your data deleted.

Funeral-home staff

Use the work email on the Lantern Leads account (or name the funeral home). Tell us whether you want:

• The whole funeral-home account closed and deleted, or
• Specific leads, text threads, or staff logins removed

People who filled a Facebook form or got a text

Include your full name, the mobile number that was texted, and the funeral home you inquired with (if you know it). Say you want your lead and text data deleted.

Replying STOP stops texts right away. STOP alone does not delete your record. To delete the data we hold, still email hello@getlanternleads.com.

What we delete

When we confirm a request, we delete or de-identify what we reasonably hold, including:

• Lead details from the Facebook form (name, cell number, form answers, and SMS consent record we keep for that lead)
• Text threads and follow-up status for that lead
• For a full funeral-home account close: staff accounts, Facebook Page connection tokens we store, follow-up message copy, inbox data for that home, and related settings

We may keep a limited copy when we must — for example billing records, fraud or legal hold, or enough of a STOP record so we do not text that number again.

The funeral home may still have its own notes or exports. Ask that home separately if you want them to delete their copy.

How long it takes

We aim to finish deletion or de-identification within 30 days of a clear request. We will reply to the email so you know we received it.

Disconnecting Facebook does not wipe past leads

If a funeral home disconnects its Facebook Page or lead form in Lantern Leads, that stops new form fills from arriving. It does not automatically delete leads, text threads, or consent records already stored.

To remove historical data, email hello@getlanternleads.com and ask for deletion.
